How many times can I view an activity?

Subscribers have unlimited viewings of on-demand activities, podcasts, and CE monographs during their 12-month subscription. For those unable to attend live webinars, they will become available in other formats approximately one month after the live event.

What is an on-demand activity?

These are complete recordings of presentations providing one hour of continuing education (CE). CE is available via an online assessment (post-test). Archived webinars are accessible approximately one month after the live event and can be viewed at your convenience.

What is a CE monograph?

CE monographs are documents provided as a PDF format that can be printed and reviewed at your convenience to earn CE. CE is available via an online assessment (post-test).

What is a live webinar?

A live webinar synchronizes slides and live audio to you over the Internet – at your workplace, in your home, or through a staff in-service program.  You will have the opportunity to ask the speaker questions at the end of the program.

What is a podcast?

Podcasts are a convenient delivery method available for subscribers. CE podcasts provide one hour of CE in audio format that you can listen to whenever or wherever you want. CE is available via an online assessment (post-test).

How do I access the webinars?

Directions for accessing live webinars will be provided by email when subscribers register for the activity.

Where can I find a schedule of webinars?

Once scheduled, webinar information is provided at www.PharmacyTechCE.org and on the eLearning system.

How do I process continuing education for these activities?

After completion of a live webinar, subscribers will complete an evaluation and submit an attestation on the eLearning site. After completion of these steps, subscribers can claim CE credit.

How do I make a group purchase?

Purchase the number of subscriptions you need for the number of pharmacy technicians in your organization. If discount thresholds have been met, the appropriate discount will automatically be applied. After your purchase, you will receive an email containing directions for accessing the administrative tools. What is included in a subscription?

An individual subscription allows one pharmacy technician to participate in all learning activities available during the subscription time frame. This includes over 40 hours of T-designated CE, as well as access to live CE webinars. Continuing education credit can only be claimed once per topic, regardless of which format(s) you choose.

Are there discounts available?

Yes, discounts are available beginning with purchases of 11 or more subscriptions.
10% discount is offered for 11-50 subscriptions ($54)
15% discount is offered for 51-150 subscriptions ($51)
20% discount is offered for 151 or more subscribers ($48)
Any pharmacy technician employer purchasing more than 1 subscription will be able to access group subscription administrative access. Contact Chris Jezowski at cjezowski@ashp.org for additional information about group purchases.

Who are the speakers?

Speakers are pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with extensive experience in their topic area.

How soon after I purchase my subscription will I be able to participate?

As soon as the purchase is made, access to the learning activities will be provided. Individuals will need to set up a username and password to access the subscribers-only section of the site.

Can I view the activity in multiple formats?

Topics are available in multiple formats for your convenience. CE credit will only be awarded for one format per topic.

Yes, activities are accessible on smart phones and other web enabled mobile devices.
